Orange and Cranberry Scones
Cholesterol-lowering scones with orange and cranberry.
Note: with a batch of six scones, each scone contains approx 0.7g of plant stanols. Plant stanol ester has been shown to lower cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. The beneficial effect has been shown with a daily intake of 1.5-3.0g plant stanols, as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.

1oranges - zest only

120gGreek yogurt

Pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut butter into flour until crumbly.
- Stir in cranberries, orange zest, honey, and yogurt to form a dough.
- Roll dough into a circle, cut into wedges, and bake for 12–15 minutes.
