TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This promotion is operated by Raisio Ireland Ltd. (“Raisio Ireland”), whose registered office is at 22 Cubes Offices, Beacon South Quarter,  Sandyford, Dublin 18. Please do not send entries to this address.
  2. This promotion is open to anyone in the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over only. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families, agents of the promoter or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are ineligible to enter this promotion.
  3. The promotion will run from 8th of July 2024 (“Opening Date”), until 31st August 2024 (“Closing Date”). Entries must be received by Raisio Ireland by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are void and will not be entered into the prize draw.
  4. To enter, please follow the instructions on the Social Media post or Newsletter. No purchase is necessary. Internet access is required.
  5. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be null and void. Raisio Ireland reserves the right to exclude entrants from participating in the competition if it believes that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.
  6. Entries are limited to one per person. Entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into the prize draw. Entries from agents, commercial groups, or entries automatically generated by computer will not be accepted.
  7. Three winners will will be selected by a panel of impartial judges made up of Raisio Ireland staff and external stakeholders. The selection of a winning entry is open to subjective interpretation, an independent judge, or a panel that includes one independent member must be appointed. In either case, the judge or panel member must be demonstrably independent, especially from the competition’s promoters and intermediaries and from the pool of entrants from which the eventual winner is picked. Those appointed to act as judges should be competent to judge the competition and their full names must be made available on request. The selection will be based on suitability and the capability of Benecol® to fulfill the prize within a reasonable time and economic parameters. The winners will be notified within 14 days of the prize draw using the contact details supplied to submit the entry. The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
  8. Raisio Ireland will make all reasonable efforts to contact the chosen winners. If the winners cannot be contacted/are not available/have not claimed their prize within 30 days of the first attempt to contact them, the prize will lapse and Raisio Ireland reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner/winners selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
  9.  The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable and no cash alternative will be available in any circumstances. The value of the prize is up to the discretion of Raisio Ireland but will not exceed €1000 in total. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Raisio Ireland reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value, to be determined by Raisio Ireland at its sole discretion.
  10. Raisio Ireland will endeavour to dispatch the prize to the winners within 14 days of notifying them that they have won the prize. If the prize has an unspecified or long lead time for order or fabrication, then a longer lead time will be outlined and agreed upon. Raisio Ireland accepts no responsibility for failed delivery of the prize due to the provision of incorrect contact details by the entrant. Any prize that is returned undelivered will be assumed unwanted.

  11. Winners may be required to share a photo or video content with Raisio Ireland of them with their prize and/or community group. Raisio Ireland may wish to publish the surname and county of the prize winner on its website or social media channels. An entrant who objects to any or all of his/her surname, county, and winning entry being published or made available, must contact Raisio Ireland at: Laura.Oconnell@raisio.com@raisio.com within a reasonable period of time before the relevant Closing Date of the promotion.
  12. Raisio Ireland does not accept responsibility for any entries lost, damaged, or delayed as a result of network, computer hardware, or software failures of any kind. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  13. Raisio Ireland does not warrant that any use of or access to the website will be uninterrupted or error or virus free nor will it have any liability for damage caused by hostile software which may infect entrants’ equipment or property as a result of that entrant using or browsing the website.
  14. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledges that Raisio Ireland will use each entrant’s personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions and its Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.benecol.ie/privacy-policy. By entering this promotion, each entrant gives permission to Raisio Ireland to store his/her name, address, telephone number, and email address within its database. Entrants can unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications from Raisio Ireland at any time by emailing hpcmarketing@raisio.com and by clicking the unsubscribe link in the communications received.
  15. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit Raisio Ireland’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, Raisio Ireland will not be liable for any loss, damage, or consequential loss of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions, in connection with the prize, and/or which are caused by a third party.
  16. Raisio Ireland reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
  17. Raisio Ireland reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice to entrants.
  18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
